Car Audio is a difficult market whether you be a vendor or a consumer. For too long it has been difficult to find out about products to come or to get facts rather than marketing hype. These things stop consumers from making educated decisions and they either end up disappointed with their purchase or never confident enough to make the purchase. Each car audio site out there is filled with misinformation and elitists that turn people away from the hobby in droves. At eCrack we see all these problems and we believe we can solve them to help the industry as a whole. That is our Mission.

We have designed a website driven by our forums. The site looks clean and information is displayed just like any other site, but this site is a little different. We are not looking to make money. We want vendors to advertise on this site with minimum hassle. Thus, the whole site is dynamic. If you're a moderator, you have access to forums that once posted in, update the website without administrator intervention.

So, for instance you are a vendor and you have a new line of amplifiers coming out. You would take your descriptions and images and post them in our "News" forum. Once posted your news would display on the front page instantly. The poster can edit their own posts but no one else's. The same goes for competitions.

We have a reviews section as well that is currently being toyed with. This is a HUGE area that Car Audio is lacking in. Consumers cannot get a handle on performance of equipment without seeing it first-hand. We are hoping to breach that boundary. You may notice some reviews that are severely lacking. There are reasons for this and those reasons are, we were focusing on only one aspect to review rather than as a whole. We are currently working on testing methodologies for all product. It is very import that all product be reviewed scientifically. This means that after reading a review, readers can come away with a genuine knowledge of the product and a factual opinion.
